Per Sheryl Hayes, this is to let you know that the following email was sent to all undergraduate students on financial aid:
The following webmail (see below) has been sent to 11966 students this
afternoon (03/04/2009):

SUBJECT: System Error with Spring Pell Grants

Dear UCR student,
The Financial Aid Office learned this morning that a system error occurred which
affected the display of Spring Pell Grant credits on students' GROWL Statement
of Accounts and Current Activity. This error has now been fixed by our Computing
and Communications department and all billing statements are now displaying the
correct amount of Pell Grant for Spring and the correct amount due on March
13th. We apologize for the concern this system error caused. Please rest assured
that no Pell Grants were reduced, only how this aid was displayed on the system
was affected by the error. If you have any further concerns about this or about
the aid available to credit your Spring bill, please contact the Financial Aid
Office at 827-3878. If you have questions about your Spring billing charges,
please contact Student Business Services at 827-3204.
