Join us in Changing the World!

 

May is National Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and the UCR API Month
Planning Team is up and running!  We've got some great projects in the works
that will celebrate the wide range of contributions Asian and Pacific
Islander Communities have made to the campus, the state, the nation and
beyond!  All we need is YOU in the mix to make the formula for a fantastic
month-long celebration to be complete.  Join us for our API Month Planning
Meetings on Mondays, 11:30-12:30 in the APSP Office (244 Costo Hall) and for
the the API Month Marketing Team meetings on Wednesdays at noon here in the
APSP Office (Starting on Wednesday, April 8). We've got a lot of work to do
in just a few weeks, so bring your ideas and your energy and be ready to
work!

We need to beef up our team, so bring anyone you think is willing to help
promote API Month 2009.

If you want to help, but can't make the meetings, this is what we need:

-- Artists/designers to help us generate flyers
-- Web Designers to help us manage our Online Presence
-- Writers to help with press releases and promotions
-- people willing to pass out flyers at key spots on campus
-- people willing to distribute flyers and posters to local businesses
(especially UV)
-- people to wear buttons
-- people to invite their friends to our events/activities via
facebook/myspace/email/text
-- people, people, people!
