Dear Colleagues,

The 8th Annual UCR Block Party is scheduled for September 29th, 2006 from
5-9pm.

Those departments interested in participating in this event can pick up
agreements in Student Life (Costo 145)on September 1st, 2006.  The first 100
eligible student organizations/departments to sign up with full payment of
$35 and complete workshops by the deadline will be provided one 10'x10'
canopy, one clip-on light, one table and two chairs (total rental cost
$103.45). The $35 Booth Rental Fee is necessary to offset the actual cost of
canopy rental ($103.45) due to price increases and budget restrictions. The
Cleaning Deposit will be waived for departments, but the Booth Rental Fee
must be paid and can be arranged through Student Life with a BEA (transfer
of funds) by providing your departmental FAU.  The completed form are due no
later than September 15th, 2006 by 4:45 pm.


Important Dates and Times- BEFORE the Block Party Event:

.	Block Party registration forms available						9/1/06
.	Meal Agreements and specific menu items due to Student Life by		9/8/06
.	Food permits applications and fees for meal anchors due to EH&S by	9/11/06
.	Other groups selling/giving food, list of items due to Student Life by
9/12/06
.	Block Party registration forms for all groups due to Student Life by
9/15/06
.	Food permits applications and fees due to EH&S by				9/22/06
.	Food Safety TRAINING course must be completed by				9/27/06

Please share these dates with any student groups that might be working with
your office.
