[Undergradstudents] Important Information / Dates for Spring 2024 Enrollment

Dear SOE Student,



Spring 2024 is quickly approaching!  Below you will find information to help make your registration process more efficient and successful.



Holds: Holds on your record may cause delays in registration. Be sure to review your record in R'Web and resolve any holds prior to your assigned registration time ticket. Typically, the department assigning the hold must also be the department to clear the hold; if you have any questions about the hold after reading the hold instructions carefully, contact the office listed on the hold notes.

Did you know:  Student parents receive priority registration.  The information is gathered from both the FAFSA and CADA forms and is automatically applied.  If you are a student parent and do not complete either of those forms, please do so. These forms are free to submit and might offer resources you did not realize you were eligible to receive. Finding your Registration Time Ticket: You can locate your scheduled registration time ticket on your Student Profile via R'Web beginning Tuesday, February 6, 2024. How to Register: Registration instructions can be found on the Registrar's<https://registrar.ucr.edu/registering> website.



Undergraduate Registration Times: Registration is structured into two segments.  Initial registration for continuing students will take place from February 12-March 6, 2024. Undergraduates may enroll in up to 17.0 units during initial registration.  A second pass for registration will begin on March 7, 2024, when the 17.0 unit maximum for undergraduates will be increased to 20.0 units (students in good academic standing). This is an opportunity to add additional courses if necessary and/or desired. Important dates can be found on the Academic Calendar.<https://registrar.ucr.edu/calendar>

SOE Undergraduate Advising:

  1.  Visit the SOE Advising eLearn Canvas Portal<https://elearn.ucr.edu/courses/4490> for additional enrollment support information including handouts and videos to assist you with enrollment.

Payment Information/Statement of Account: Student Business Services will notify you via R'Mail (approximately mid-February) when your statement of account with applicable tuition and fees becomes available.


Payment Deadlines: Undergraduate tuition and fees are due on Friday, March 15, 2024. Grace period ends on Monday, March 25. Students with outstanding tuition and fees may be assessed an Administrative Tuition Processing Fee ($45) and courses may be dropped from your R'Web account.  Students relying on fees to be paid (in full or in part) by financial aid, must enroll in the appropriate number of units (12 minimum) by 4pm on March 15, 2024, for aid to be disbursed.
