Dear UCR SOE Incoming Juniors in the Education Undergraduate Major,
The SOE is exciting to announce a new initiative called the FIERCE Scholars Program. This is a 3 year, grow-your-own initiative, focused on developing educators (teachers, school psychologists, or higher education professionals) who are dedicated to serving the communities of the Inland Empire.
If you are interested in applying, you can find the details below. I am also excited to share that Dr. Amos Lee, who is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the SOE, will serve as the Program Coordinator for 21-22. You are welcome to send him any questions.
I look forward to meeting you soon and I wish you a great start to the 21-22 academic year!
Sincerely,
Dr. Louie Rodriguez
