Academic Advising

Farewell Message

To Education Major and Minor Students,

I want to inform you that I will be leaving UCR. My last day is today, December 4. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you this past year, and coordinating student engagements here in GSOE. More importantly, I enjoyed assisting our Undergraduate Advising team in further building our community, and welcoming you to our GSOE family. I have enjoyed all the opportunities GSOE has given me to work with each one of you. I could not have asked for a better department to work with. Thank you for being a part of my journey. If you have any questions, please direct them to your assigned advisor.

I wish you all the best with your future endeavors, especially with finals just around the corner.

Best,

Samia Alam

 Campus Resources

UCR Academic Resource Center (ARC)
Finals week is quickly approaching. Do you feel like you need extra support in your courses or do you need someone to peer review your essays?
ARC is here to help!

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) provides tutoring and other academic support services to UCR’s undergraduate students. Resources provided by the ARC include Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, study skills workshops, and peer mentoring programs. Students are strongly encouraged to utilize the ARC, which is staffed by professional and student employees who are well trained to provide academic support and dedicated to fostering academic excellence. Staff work with all students, at all skill levels, in all stages of their undergraduate careers. Participating in these services is most useful to students when used pro-actively for academic enrichment.

For more information about hours, location, and schedule of services, please visit arc.ucr.edu or email arc at ucr.edu<mailto:arc at ucr.edu> .
