UCPath recently implemented the changes listed below.



Cognos

Summary

Date

Developed a new report (R-421 Health FSA to Health Savings Plan) to identify employees who elect the health savings plan during the open enrollment period who are also enrolled in the health flexible spending account in the current plan year

Changed the salary cost transfer page to allow monthly hourly distributions to be processed with the monthly salary rather than with the hourly comp rate to correct the OLD_PERCENT_PAY field overflow message

Other Updates & Reminders:

  *   The location contact lists have been updated to include additional contacts:
     *   Intercampus Employment – used when an employee is employed by two locations and coordination is needed to align the employee’s FLSA status
     *   Overpayment Contact – used for communication related to overpayment recovery packets
     *   Production Calendar Updates – contacts who will receive updates about UCPath production processing schedule changes
     *   QCU – list of the specific contacts who are authorized to update the QCU contacts
     *   Authorized location contacts should submit a case to UCPath to update the location contacts.  Instructions have been updated and posted on the Location Support Site<https://ucofficeofthepresident.sharepoint.com/sites/UCPathLocationSupport> > Resources > How to > Update Location Contacts
  *   All UCPath general ledger pages and functionality will be unavailable from 12:00 a.m. PT (midnight) Thursday, January 4 to 12:00 p.m. PT (noon)  Monday, January 08 at 12:00 pm to support the UC Davis and UC ANR transition to the Oracle Cloud Financials system.
