UCPath recently implemented the changes listed below.

Other Updates & Reminders:

·        The metrics dashboard<https://sp.ucop.edu/sites/UCPathLoc/Metrics/SitePages/Home.aspx> has been updated to include several new charts and features in the Production Statistics area:

o   Added new charts for overpayments and payroll adjustments

o   Added filters for employee class

o   Added frequency option to display data weekly or monthly

o   Added option to display data per 1,000 employees to normalize data between locations

·        Correction to the September 23, 2022, changes and enhancements update:  The UCPath fax number was reporting incorrectly. The correct fax number is 1-855-982-2329.

·        UCPath will be unavailable Saturday, October 15, 6:00 a.m,. thru Saturday, October 15, 8:00 p.m., to implement the new Fluid navigation for users who transact or view PeopleSoft information.
Impact: During the scheduled downtime, there will be no access to UCPath.
Please plan accordingly and complete necessary UCPath activities prior to the outage.
UCPath will send a notice once the deployment is completed.
·        Beginning October 17, UCPath PeopleSoft pages can only be saved as Favorites within PeopleSoft
o   Examples of PeopleSoft pages include: Worklist, PayPath Actions and Modify a Person
o   To prepare for this change:
§  Review bookmarks in UCPath for PeopleSoft pages
§  Set up PeopleSoft pages as Favorites
§  Refer to the Dashboard Bookmarks to PeopleSoft Favorites Job Aid<https://ucop.app.box.com/s/beri9zy3nyua5t8k0b8nikgxoagt5ckg> for detailed instructions

o   PeopleSoft favorites saved before October 15 will migrate over with the improved navigation changes.

Did you know? UCPath does not allow effective sequencing in position data. Position data only allows one update per effective date, so if the appropriate effective date is already in use and requires another update on the position data record, it is necessary to submit a position update form to UCPath

  *   When an FTE change is required and the effective date in position is already in use, the UCPath team must make the corrections in position data. Location teams should avoid using the "next available" date which could result in negative impacts to pay, accruals and benefit eligibility.
  *   Note that job data updates allow effective sequencing. To learn more about using PayPath tabs for position and job data updates, please refer to these job aids:
