UCPath recently implemented the changes listed below.

Absence Management
Summary
Date
Created two new leave reason codes under FML in UCPath in response to Senate Bill 1383 for Qualifying Exigency Leave.  Qualifying Exigency Leave is leave taken because of a qualifying exigency related to the covered active duty or call to covered active duty of an employee's spouse, domestic partner, child, or parent in the Armed Forces of the United States.

Did You Know? Unpaid Leave of Absence

*         UCPath automatically reduces the employee's eligible FMLA hours, CFRA hours and PDLL hours when the employee is on an unpaid FMLA, CFRA or PDLL extended leave using a function known as auto-calc.

*         UCPath uses a generic Monday through Friday work schedule based on the employee's FTE to determine the estimated hours per day to reduce the employee's eligible FMLA hours, CFRA hours and PDLL hours.

*         Locations may need to adjust FMLA, CFRA and PDLL balances to correct duplicate takes and account for incorrect hours balances due to the generic work schedule used by UCPath.
