Other Updates & Reminders:

*         Beginning 7/27, specific pages in UCPath will appear as "read only" between the "stop" and "resume" dates/times on the UCPath Production Processing Schedule.

     *   PayPath transactions will be displayed as "read only" for any employee being processed in the current pay cycle.
     *   The Mass PayPath Approval page will be displayed as "read only" for all employees

Did You Know? Future dated hires do not require a birth date or social security number (SSN) but both should be added on the first day of work to prevent downstream issues

*         If no birth date is populated, benefits will error out and the employee will not be paid

*         Employees with no SSN in UCPath will have a variety of issues including:

o   Inability to enroll in coverage (e.g. Delta Dental, VSP, Principle Health Net and Anthem)

o   The employee will not receive evidence of insurance paperwork

o   The employee will not be able to receive expedited pay on a pay card

o   Incorrect information with EDD for unemployment benefit purposes

o   Issues with Fidelity retirement accounts

*         Use the R-130 report to identify employees missing personal information

*         Updates to date of birth and SSN can be done via a Personal Data Change HR Template or Employee Self Service
