UCPath recently implemented the changes listed below.

Absence Management
Summary
Date
Updated the vacation maximum accrual for covered policy employees from June 30, 2021 to September 30, 2021

Updated academic configurations including adding criteria to the absence management eligibility groups to include all active non-exempt (NEX) academic codes and updated "STAFF99" to exclude academic employees

Resolved the defect causing the Journal Module not to generate accrual journals for all locations

Updated the 2021 National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) salary cap in UCPath

PayPath
Summary
Date
Resolved the invalid step issue in Mass PayPath that occurred when processing salary plan and grade changes for employees with MCOP and JED where the new step value entered did not exist in the previous salary plan and grade

Updated the system to ensure the HR Worksite ID and Cubicle fields are listed in blue font when the value has been updated and the PayPath transaction is routed for approval

Payroll & Compensation
Summary
Date
Enhanced the UC_Transfer, UC_Transfer_AC and Recruiting-Transfer Template validations to validate the "effective date" against the "expected end date" to prevent "effective dates" that are after the current job "expected end date".

Corrected the gender translations that occur between the Sex Descr Self table and the Trinary values that are in the Person Data table.

Updated the off cycle dashboard for E-078 requests to the correct status after processing

Updated the system to hide the "Eligible to Work in the US" field on the "Eligibility and Identity tab"

Updated the system so the new hire enrollment pages for Basic Dependent Life and Expanded Dependent Life-Child display the available options and cost

Other Updates & Reminders:

*         Beginning 7/27, specific pages in UCPath will appear as "read only" between the "stop" and "resume" dates/times on the UCPath Production Processing Schedule.

     *   PayPath transactions will be displayed as "read only" for any employee being processed in the current pay cycle.
     *   The Mass PayPath Approval page will be displayed as "read only" for all employees

Did You Know? HR Smart Templates do not have global (non-US) address logic

*         This means global addresses may not map over correctly from HR Smart Templates to UCPath

*         When working with employees with a global address, we recommend asking the employee to log into UCPath to verify and update their address if necessary
