VSP - Payment Processing Transition from U.S. Bank to KeyBank




The UC Office of the President (UCOP) wishes to inform UC emeriti and retirees
about the upcoming communication that will be sent out to VSP Vision Care
members.



VSP has notified UCOP that it has transitioned its payment processing
services from *U.S. Bank* to *KeyBank*. As a result of this change, certain
emeriti and retirees who submit premium payments by check or through their
personal bank’s bill pay service will need to update their remittance
information to ensure payments continue to process correctly.


To support a smooth transition and avoid disruption in coverage, VSP will
mail the attached letter to these emeriti and retirees the week of February
23, 2026. This letter will serve as the initial notice regarding the bank
change. To ensure all enrolled emeriti and retirees take the necessary
actions, VSP will send additional reminder letters at a later date.



VSP has shared that the timeline for fully transitioning away from U.S.
Bank is still being finalized and will be communicated once confirmed. In
the meantime, emeriti and retirees are being asked to update their
remittance information as soon as possible to help ensure their payments
continue to process correctly.

4:30 p.m. Pacific Time.
