New Octave Behavioral Health for Non-Kaiser and Non-United Healthcare Members

Anthem Blue Cross is offering Octave Behavioral Health as a new service provider offering over 150 in-network therapists and mental health providers for all Anthem and Health Net/MHN plan members across California. Octave offers greater flexibility and a wider range of available in-network counselors; eliminating the extra expense involved with seeking services from out-of-network providers due to the growing issue with limited clinical services.

Services and Benefits of Octave Behavioral Health

*        Virtual and in-person therapy options. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Octave has been delivering virtual care only, but is targeting reopening clinics in Spring 2022. Current clinics are available in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

*        Superior client and therapist experience focusing on the client-therapist relationship and the strength of the therapeutic alliance.

*        Consistent and high-quality mental health care provided by qualified providers practicing evidence-based therapy, and measurement-based care.

*        Focused on inclusion providing therapists with greater experience and specializations in care for LGBTQ communities and women's health.

*        A streamlined online onboarding process available only to University of California employees, retirees, emeriti and dependents via https://findoctave.com/uc.

Services currently not provided by Octave Behavioral Health

*        Clients under age 18.

*        Psychiatric medications and prescriptions.

*        Serious rating disorders or substance abuse.
