Anthem – Reminder Emails on 30-day Rx Supply Deployed to Members

Anthem just released reminders to members of the CORE, UC Health Savings Plan, UC Care PPO, Medicare PPO, and High Option Supplement to Medicare plans to reiterate the process for members who need more than a 30-day supply of medications due to the formulary change under Navitus.

The communication informs and instructs members to contact Navitus to request more than a 30-day supply of their medication(s) if they are unable to see their provider(s) or prescriber(s) before their prescription runs out. Benefit co-pays still apply.

To make this request, the member or the pharmacy will need to call Navitus Customer Care for non-Medicare eligible at 855.673.6504 and Medicare eligible at 866.270.3877, and available 24/7 except on Thanksgiving and Christmas days.
