Re:         UnitedHealthcare – Annual Wellness Visit Campaign to UC Medicare Choice Members
UnitedHealthcare (UHC) has announced that they are going to launch a call campaign to encourage UC Medicare Choice members to complete their Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) by the end of 2020.

Why is this important?
UHC wants to ensure that UC Medicare Choice members receive their preventive care support as part of standard health maintenance and to correct the information in their health records.

UC Medicare Choice members will be contacted by UHC if members:

·       Are showing certain interactions with their provider, but may not have the correct information about their condition.

·       Do not have a record of an Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) in 2020.

As the closing of 2020 approaches, UHC recommends that members schedule and complete their appointments as soon as possible. Members may receive their AWV in person or virtually, as part of the HouseCalls program, or with their own physician.
