DBRs, please share this information via your internal listserv. Please do not reply to this email. Please send a separate email with questions to benefits at ucr.edu<mailto:benefits at ucr.edu>.
As a reminder, all UCPath eForms will be unavailable during the upcoming downtime period in preparation for implementing enhancements. UCPath will process all previously submitted forms during this downtime.
Again, all eForms will be unavailable and inaccessible during the downtime period, beginning Wednesday, May 27, 2026 through Sunday, May 31, 2026. UCPath will process all previously submitted forms during this downtime. All eForms will be updated and made available to access on Monday June 1, 2026.
All eForms will be unavailable as of May 27, 2026, including the following:
* Accruals and Service Adjustment Request
* Request to Exceed Maximum Vacation Accrual Limit
* State Agency Prior Service Verification
* Out of State Income Tax Withholding
* Foreign Source Income Statement
* Records and Data Request
* Benefits Request
* Update Dependent Information
Please ensure to make any necessary e-form updates before these dates. For urgent matters during the scheduled eForm downtime, locations and employees may contact UCPath for additional assistance.
What's Changing
These updates improve usability, accessibility and the overall user experience without changing the underlying eForm processes or functionality.
Updated eForms Appearance and Accessibility
eForms will have a refreshed look and feel using modern design standards. Users will notice improved readability, clearer navigation, better spacing, stronger color contrast and enhanced support for keyboard and assistive technology users.
Simplified Self-Service Form Access
For eligible self-service eForms, employees will no longer need to self-search before starting a form. Forms will automatically open for the logged-in employee, reducing clicks and simplifying the process.
Users with transactor or administrator access will still retain employee search functionality where applicable.
Approver Name Anonymization
Approver and processor names will no longer be displayed to end users on targeted eForms. Instead, users will see general references such as "UCPath" or "UCPath Center." This change helps create a more consistent user experience while still providing clear status updates on forms.
Exceed Vacation Limit eForm
The comments section on the Request to Exceed Vacation Limit eForm has been updated to improve usability. Users will no longer receive a hard-stop error requiring comments before submission, and the comments area can expand or collapse as needed.
