The UC systemwide health and welfare plan providers offer behavioral health support resources to faculty and staff.

To assist with managing the uncertainty of our times, the Human Resources Benefits Office wishes to provide resources for UCR faculty and staff to address mental and emotional health care needs. To help navigate this unsettling stream of events, members enrolled in a UC medical plan may take advantage of the following programs and resources:

Behavioral Health Benefits for HMO plans

* UC Blue & Gold HMO members may access care from the Health Net in-network.

* Kaiser members may access care from Kaiser behavioral health providers or from Optum in-network providers.

There is no referral requirement to see a behavioral health provider, but some specific services may require preauthorization. You are welcome to contact the following behavioral health providers for immediate assistance:

*         Health Net - UC Blue & Gold<https://uc.healthnetcalifornia.com/members/behavioral-health.html> - Health Net - 800-663-9355

* Kaiser Permanente<http://my.kp.org/universityofcalifornia/> (Southern California) - Call your local clinic or (800) 900-3277 after hours

*         Optum<http://www.liveandworkwell.com/default.asp?programPIN=11280&redirectURL=/member/default.asp?lang=1> for Kaiser - 888-440-8225

o Optum member website - Access code: 11280

o Live and Work Well Virtual Visits

o   https://www.liveandworkwell.com/content/en/public.html

Behavioral Health Benefits for PPO plans

* UC HealthSavings+ and UC Care members have access to Anthem Blue Cross in-network providers.

* UC HSP+ and UC Care members also have access to out-of-network providers. If you choose to see an out-of-network provider, your costs will be higher, and you may need to pay your provider directly for services and submit a claim for reimbursement.

* Some services require preauthorization. For information about your benefits and help locating an in-network provider, call Accolade at 866.406.1182.

o You may also speak to a therapist or psychologist virtually through Accolade Care Telehealth and Virtual Visits<https://www.uchealthplans.com/commercial/find-care#PPOPlans>.

UCR Faculty and Staff Wellness Program (FSAP) - ComPsych(r)

Not enrolled in a UC medical plan. You may access behavioral health care through the UC faculty and staff assistance program<https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/contacts/faculty-staff-assistance-programs.html>. UCR's Faculty & Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) provider ComPsych, through its GuidanceResources(r), offers additional resources for faculty, staff and their household family members including confidential support, and resources and information for personal and work-life issues.

GuidanceResources is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Please visit the UCR Faculty Staff Assistance Program webpage<https://hr.ucr.edu/employee-resources/faculty-and-staff-assistance-program> to learn more about all of the benefits that GuidanceResources has to offer.
