Optum’s AbleTo behavioral health app was replaced by Optum Virtual Behavioral Coaching (VBC)<https://www.liveandworkwell.com/content/en/member/benefits/bh/virtual-coaching.html> on January 1, 2026. This program is offered as an additional resource for Kaiser non‑Medicare members and does not change their existing benefits.  VBC provides up to eight (8) no‑cost, self‑guided sessions by phone or video to support skill‑building that helps manage stress, anxiety, and depression.

Notifications were emailed to AbleTo users about the transition, including instructions for creating new accounts.
For enrollment, new users may call 1‑866‑287‑1802 to enroll and schedule a session. Future sessions can be scheduled through the patient portal.
