As part of the ongoing communication plan regarding the change to the benefits eligibility policy for rehired retirees, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, UCOP will send the attached communication to all employees intending to retire between May 1 and September 30, 2025 and eligible for retiree health benefits.  UCOP will pull data on all new retirement elections and send the communication once a month in June, July, and August.  UCOP will also distribute, with prior notification, an email to current rehired retirees in July.

Also please note the next live monthly webinar regarding the Rehired Retiree policy change, normally held on the second Friday of the month, will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, rather than Friday, June 13, 2025.  In addition, a second session has been added and will be held on Monday, June 23rd.
