Accolade for UC Anthem PPO plan members recently introduced a new enhancement to its member portal and mobile app, designed to simplify the process of tracking prior authorization status (see image below). This update provides members with self-service access to real-time tracking of prior authorization requests. Use this link to access the Accolade member portal https://login.myaccolade.com/new-login/index.html#/.
Members may check the status of a newly submitted prior authorization using the member portal or mobile app. Members who have opted for push notifications will automatically receive alerts regarding the initial request and any status updates. Depending on the complexity of the authorization, members may ask questions via chat; however, more complex cases may require assistance from a Care Advocate by calling the Accolade Health Care Advocate line at 1-866-406-1182 from Monday to Friday, 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific Time.
