Effective July 5, 2024, the UCLA School of Dentistry Specialists Practice (Orthodontists, Periodontists, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Endodontists, and Pediatric Dentists) will no longer participate as an in-network provider for Delta Dental.
Notifications<https://hr.ucr.edu/document/ucla-dental-patient-letter> and FAQs<https://hr.ucr.edu/document/ucla-faqs>  explaining this change were sent by the UCLA School of Dentistry to current patients in late May 2024 via email and USPS. These specialists treat approximately 670 UC patients annually. Patients undergoing treatment expected to extend beyond July 5, 2024, will continue to be treated as in-network services until their treatment is complete. UCLA's General Dentists, Residents, and Dental Students remain in the Delta Dental network.
