UCOP has released the Retirement Separation Date presentation<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/default/files/2023-03/rasc-separation-date-and-retirement-date-overview.pptx> outlining the process for entering data into the UCPath system for retiring employees.  Also shared is the Pathway to Retirement Guidebook<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/default/files/2023-03/uc-pathway-to-retirement-guidebook.pdf>.  Members may use this guidebook to organize all the information you will need to plan for and transition into a fulfilling retirement.

The separation date for members in a Multi-Tier category (i.e., 1976 and 2013 tier) was not noted in the presentation, however, the separation date to use for these members would be 06/29/2023.

Should you have any Faculty and/or Staff members retiring this July (or at any time throughout the year), or for any questions, please refer them to the Benefits Office at benefits at ucr.edu<mailto:benefits at ucr.edu> for assistance with information regarding their retirement benefits, the step by step retirement process and the UCR internal retirement process.
