During Open Enrollment 2023, if an employee enrolled a dependent who previously failed to complete Family Member Eligibility Verification (FMEV) through UnifyHR (UC's third-party vendor), UCPath has removed the OE elections for that dependent. A targeted mass email<https://hr.ucr.edu/document/family-member-eligibility-verification-email> was sent to employees on December 1, 2023 to inform them of the action, the dependent(s) affected, and what steps the employee can take to complete FMEV through UnifyHR to have their dependent(s) reinstated into Health & Welfare benefits.
