Kaiser Permanente - Ginger Emotional Support App

Kaiser Permanente announced a digital emotional support coaching app called Ginger.  The attached informational flyer was emailed to UC's Northern and Southern California Kaiser members on September 19, 2022.  Kaiser adult members 18 years old and older may use Ginger for 90 consecutive days per year at no cost, with no referral.

Members can scan the QR code at the top of the flyer to download the Ginger app or visit Kaiser's public website, kp.org/coachingapps to download.  Members can also visit the UC dedicated site and page select.kp.org/university-of-california#/Healthy-resources/247-emotional-support-coaching-app-1 and choose "Click here" to download the Ginger app.

Members should read the disclaimers at the bottom of the self-care apps page before choosing to download the Ginger app. Members will need to sign in or register for a Kaiser account in order to download the Ginger app.

What can you do with the Ginger app?

  *   Text with your coach for one-on-one coaching anytime, anywhere 24/7
  *   Discuss goals, share challenges, and create an action plan
  *   Get personalized, interactive skill-building tools
  *   View recaps from each texting session, track your progress, and help you to reach your goals
