Navitus – HSP Deductible Accumulator Issue
Navitus informed us of a system limitation issue in the claims adjudication process which is affecting accumulations towards the annual deductible for the Health Savings Plan (HSP). Under the HSP, in-network (IN) expenses count toward meeting the out-of-network (OON) deductible. However, out-of-network expenses do not count toward meeting the in-network deductible. While claims are adjudicating correctly, HSP deductibles are not computing correctly because the IN expenses are not currently counting toward the OON deductible.

Navitus has turned off the accumulator amounts in the member portal in order to perform a full system enhancement and to avoid any confusion. They anticipate this permanent fix to be completed no later than Thursday, April 21, 2022. Members are still able to see their outstanding medical deductible/out of pocket amounts with Anthem.


·       Members should continue to send a manual claim form for out-of-network claims. The form can be obtained online (Filing A Claim (navitus.com<https://www.navitus.com/members/filing-a-claim>) or by calling the Navitus Customer Care team at 1-855-673-6504.
