UCOP has provided an additional update to the notice dated May 19, 2021<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2021-05/discovery-benefits-wex-alert-email-messages.pdf>, concerning emails sent by WEX/Discovery Benefits to Flexible Spending Account participants.
WEX will send a message<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2021-05/wex-wording-of-email-sent-to-fsa-participants.pdf> via email to UC members who received an incorrect "2020 Mid-Year Confirmation Statement."

Also, in the March 24, 2021 communication, UCOP indicated that the 2020 FSA Plan "blackout period" would extend from April 16, 2021 through May 31, 2021. However, due to the complexities of the COVID-19 relief provisions in the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, WEX requires more time to complete the accurate set up the 2020 FSA Plans in their system. Therefore, WEX has extended the "blackout period" until June 15, 2021, and apologizes for this unavoidable delay.
