Postdoctoral Scholars Benefits Plan – The Standard EAP Provider Change from Morneau Shepell to Health Advocate
As of August 1, 2021, the Standard Insurance Company (The Standard) has changed their Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider from Morneau Shepell to Health Advocate.

As a reminder, postdoctoral scholars who are enrolled in the Voluntary LTD program have access to EAP through The Standard. The following changes are the result of the move from Morneau Shepell to Health Advocate:

   ·         The name on all materials will change to Health Advocate.

   ·         You will continue to receive the same high-quality service you have come to expect.

   ·         The service model will remain the same, with online tools and resources, as well as counseling services (with the option for virtual counseling).

   ·         The toll-free numbers will remain the same.

   ·         The web address for the EAP service will change to www.healthadvocate.com/standard3<https://clicktime.symantec.com/35pjfGZcGixKPUVUc5c2rnY7Vc?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.healthadvocate.com%2Fstandard3>.

In addition, individuals will be able to enjoy the following services:

   ·         24/7 access to services.

   ·         Morneau Shepell will continue to work with individuals, who are currently using the confidential counseling sessions through Morneau Shepell, until their sessions are complete.

   ·         You may also choose to access and receive counseling sessions via text.

   ·         There is now an option to schedule an appointment with a counselor or have Health Advocate schedule the appointment.
