Re:          Process for New Hires and for Employees on Leave During Open Enrollment
The following Open Enrollment (OE) materials will be provided by the UCPath Center relating to the OE process for new hires and employees on leave during the OE period. These materials are for informational purposes.

Employees Hired During Open Enrollment


*        New Hire Insert A<https://hr.ucr.edu/document/2021-open-enrollment-new-hire-insert> will be sent during the OE period: October 29 to November 24

*        New Hire Insert B<https://hr.ucr.edu/document/2021-open-enrollment-new-hire-insert-b> will be sent after the OE period: November 25 until the end of the year

Note: the Open Enrollment employee mailing lists were based on data as of October 2, 2020. New hires, after October 2 and before OE begins, will be notified separately of the OE period and will be provided with the Open Enrollment packets.

Those employees hired after OE closes are required to complete a Manual Open Enrollment form to indicate any changes for 2021.

Employees on Leave Without Pay

Employees on Leave without Pay during the OE period will be provided with the letter - Billing OE Process for Unpaid LOA<https://hr.ucr.edu/document/2021-open-enrollment-billing-oe-process-unpaid-loa> - to inform them of their options for Open Enrollment.
