Re:          2021 Flexible Spending Accounts Enrollment Confirmation
Please be advised that Discovery Benefits, the new COBRA and Flexible Spending Account plans administrator, will begin issuing the Enrollment Confirmation information<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2020-12/uc-consumer-enrollment-confirmation-sample.pdf> via email to 2021 Flexible Spending Account participants. This confirmation email will ask participants to create an online account with Discovery Benefits to review their 2021 Flexible Spending Account election(s). UCOP has confirmed that all participants will receive the notification at either their personal or work email address noted on the UCPath portal.

During the account registration process, participants will be required to enter a one-time (temporary) password that Discovery Benefits will send via email. If a participant has any issues obtaining a password, they may contact the Discovery Benefits Participant Services team at (844) 561-1338. Participants will need to verify their identify to receive the one-time password to complete the registration process. Once logged in, you will be asked to create answers to a series of security questions and then be able to create a permanent password.

Debit cards<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2020-12/uc-calblack-cobranded-debit-card.pdf> will be delivered by December 31, 2020. Each participant will receive two cards. Cards may be used for both Health FSA and DepCare FSA expenses.
