[Ucr-sdrc] UCR Campus Accessibility Walk & Roll: Ramp Audit - May 15

Dear Highlanders,


The UCR Campus Accessibility Walk & Roll: Ramp Audit is scheduled for *Friday,
May 15, 2026, from 9 to 11 a.m*. and *1-4 pm* Highlanders will participate
in this volunteer project by going in small groups across different parts
of campus by zone.

The Accessibility walk & roll will review specific mapped walkways and
building entrances using the Accessible UCR Map and a GIS survey to record
locations for new or updated signage. This focus is not a comprehensive
campus assessment, but specifically targets improving ADA (No Parking or
Locking Scooters Signage) for all building entrances with ramps and new
buildings (2018-2026), and addressing the potential physical barriers like
scooters blocking ramps.

The board will contact all volunteers to share meet-up locations for each
