[Ucr-sdrc] FW: URGENT: Voter Registration Deadline Today

Hello Highlanders!

Today (October 21st, 2024) is the DEADLINE to register to vote or update your registration online in order to vote in the November 5th Presidential Election. In 2020, 68% of eligible UCR students voted<https://documents.ucr.edu/vote/UCR_NSLVE-Report-2020.pdf> in the elections, but everyone’s voice matters, so let’s raise that even higher this year!

This Fall, our campus and broader community has the chance to vote for President, and state and local officials who make important decisions that impact our future. Make sure your voice is heard by voting in these critical elections. But first - everyone needs to register.  While same-day registration is now available at polling locations on November 5th, registering online can save you time and also ensure you can get your ballot in the mail to review, have extra time to research the issues, and vote early.

Today is your last day to register to vote/make changes to your voter registration online! Take a few minutes to get this done and get ready for the election!!
