Making Activism Accessible

Date: Monday, 1/23

Time: 4pm

Location: Via Zoom

If your activism or programming isn't accessible, it isn't inclusive.
Meet Jenny and Glyn, SDRC Disability Specialists and student organization advisors, where they will discuss how you can identify potential barriers to access and implement methods to make events more accessible and inclusive.
They will go over the meaning of accessibility, the importance of making inclusion part of your culture, and strategies you can immediately apply for your next program/event. This event is open to student leaders, UCR student organizations, and campus partners.

This will be a trauma-informed workshop which honors bodily autonomy for participants. Together, we will experience the agency and empowerment that comes from choosing what we do with our bodies.
