The stakes have been raised this year as we have the unique opportunity to double the impact of every gift made during Giving Tuesday thanks to the generosity of the UCR Foundation board of trustees. Each gift of $5 or more made to student support funds during Giving Tuesday will be matched one to one until we’ve reached $200,000 in total gifts. Your $5 turns into $10, your $500 will become $1,000 and so on! Please help us to exceed our goal to raise $10,000 and make an impact to support the success of students with disabilities at UCR!

UCR’s Student Disability Resource Center is participating in Giving Tuesday! This is an opportunity to make a donation to help STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES bridge the gap between access to success through accessible technology! The goal is to raise $10,000 towards this endeavor.

Students are back on campus this Fall, the impacts of the pandemic are still with us, and this is particularly the case for many students with disabilities. For more than 50 years, the Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC) has been committed to an accessible, equitable, and inclusive experience for students with disabilities through advocacy, empowerment, and collaboration with the UCR Community to reduce barriers for all students at UC Riverside. In the 1960s, UCR became one of the first universities in the nation to make its campus wheelchair accessible and offer services for all students with disabilities. Today, the SDRC’s highly qualified team provides assistance to a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional students with permanent and temporary disabilities.
