The goal of this Ergonomics session is to increase participant awareness of ergonomics for work/study locations. I'll discuss key ergonomic concepts and show how to properly configure a workstation for optimal health, comfort, and performance. Participants will learn how to correctly adjust their task chair and position their keyboard and pointing device (mouse) to minimize the risk of developing discomfort. I'll also discusses guidelines for proper monitor and document placement.

Tech Tuesdays are a series of learning events, hosted by SDRC's Accessible Technology Specialist, Will Pines, focused on technology for engagement. These 1-hour events are designed to bring awareness to students, staff, and faculty about access using technology you probably already have and learning about other resources available to you. We allow time for questions on a variety of technologies.
