Dear Colleagues,

We are recruiting a full time Library Public Service Desk Assistant
(Library Assistant III) to join the Circulation unit in the User Services &
Resource Sharing department. The primary functions of the unit are to make
UCSC collections and services accessible to library patrons and assist with
building security. The Circulation unit works collaboratively with the
other units in US&RS--Interlibrary Loan, Reserves & Media, Collection
Maintenance, and Operations.


We are looking for candidates with:

   - an interest in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment
   - great customer service skills
   - good verbal and written communication skills
   - the ability to make decisions independently while following policies
   and procedures
