Here are two great new publications. The first is the first major study of traditional Lao magic and medicine. I just finished it. It is a monumental achievement! The second is the latest issue of the journal Aseanie (I include the table of contents of this issue below).

Revue francophone bi-annuelle, consacrée à la recherche en Sciences sociales et humaines en Asie du Sud-Est, fondée en1998.
Elle est publiée par le centre EFEO de Bangkok en coopération avec le Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre, sous le haut patronage de S. A. R. la princesse Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Elle reçoit en outre le soutien de l'Institut de recherche pour le développement, l'Institut de recherche sur le Sud-Est asiatique et le ministère français des Affaires étrangères.
