[Campus Notice] Introducing GSMS: The New Employment Portal for Graduate Students

Dear Highlander,

The Graduate Student Management System <https://graduate.ucr.edu/gsms>
(GSMS), UC Riverside’s new employment portal for graduate students, is now
live!

Starting this August, graduate students interested in applying for academic
job opportunities should visit gradsms.ucr.edu. UCR login is required to
access the portal. With GSMS, you can apply for positions and manage your
applications and offers for academic jobs at UCR.
How to Use GSMS

Detailed instructions on how to use GSMS <https://gradsms.ucr.edu> are
available on the training site
<https://sites.google.com/ucr.edu/gsms-student-training>. You will find
guidance on performing the following actions in the portal:


   -

   Initiating and submitting an application
   -

   Withdrawing or cancelling an application
   -

   Acknowledging the Description of Duties (DoD) in an offer
   -

   Reading the Appointment Letter in an offer
   -

   Accepting or declining an offer
   -

   Requesting an offer extension
   -

   Requesting a withdrawal from an already-accepted offer

About GSMS

GSMS is the new central platform for academic graduate student hiring
across the entire campus. Developed by the UCR Graduate Division and
Information Technology Solutions (ITS), it is a comprehensive solution that
serves as a "one-stop shop" for hiring all academic Graduate Student
Employees, including TAs, GSRs, Readers, and Tutors.

The launch of GSMS is a significant step toward streamlining the graduate
student employment process across campus and we hope you benefit greatly
