[Campus Notice] Action Required: UCR TAs Should Create an Office 365 EDU Account before September 23, 2024

Good afternoon,

In preparation for the Fall Quarter, please create an Office 365 Education
account before September 23, 2024. This ensures you have the necessary
tools to support your graduate research and teaching responsibilities.
Creating an Office 365 Education account gives you free access to a variety
of Microsoft desktop applications, including:


   -

   Word
   -

   Excel
   -

   PowerPoint
   -

   OneNote
   -

   Teams

To create your Office 365 Education account, please follow these steps:

   1.

   Visit the Office 365 Education portal:
   https://signup.microsoft.com/signup?sku=Education



   2.

   Sign up for a new account: Use your UC Riverside email address to
   register in the format of firstname.lastname at email.ucr.edu
   <firstname.lastname at ucr.edu>



   3.

   Verify your account: Follow the instructions in the verification email.


Once your account is verified, you can access and download Microsoft
desktop applications.

If you have questions or concerns about the account creation process,
please don't hesitate to contact BearHelp tech support at 951-827-4848 from
Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
