Good afternoon!

I am writing to inform you that Google Workspace storage quotas are now in
effect for UCR and your new storage limit is 100 GB. Please refer to my
previous communication (attached) for additional details about this
change. Your
access to all Google Workspace services previously available to you remains
unchanged. These services include R’Mail, Drive, Photos, Docs, Sheets,
Slides, Forms, and Gemini (formerly Bard).

No action is currently required on your part, but you are encouraged to
review the data you are storing and regularly perform cleanup. To avoid
service interruptions to your account, keep your Google Storage usage under
quota. Here are helpful tips to manage your UCR data storage:

   -

   View your current storage usage <https://drive.google.com/drive/quota>
   -

   Use Google Takeout to export your data from your UCR Google account
   <https://ucrsupport.service-now.com/ucr_portal/?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0012120>
   -

   Transfer ownership of files/folders

   containing UCR data (especially research data) to your faculty, staff,
   emeriti, or research sponsor. Alternatively, move collaborative
   files/folders to a shared Google Drive
   <https://ucrsupport.service-now.com/ucr_portal/?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0012156>
   managed by your faculty, staff, emeriti, or research sponsor.

I also ask that you take note of the 10 GB storage limit for alumni
<https://ucrsupport.service-now.com/ucr_portal?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0012202>.
Practicing diligent storage hygiene will help ensure that you are able to
preserve the data you need.

For questions not addressed by the information provided above, please
