[Campus Notice] REMINDER: Important Guidance on New Work Order System

Dear Campus Work Order Transactor,

This is a reminder that the Impact23 <https://impact23.ucr.edu/> Go Live
date is set for July 5, 2023, and with it comes the new Work Order System.
This system will replace several existing systems at UCR and it will be
used to submit requests that cover the following areas:


   1.

   Web Recharge
   2.

   Mail Services
   3.

   Digital Services
   4.

   Receiving Services
   5.

   Media Recharge
   6.

   Communication Work Orders


To ensure a smooth transition, ITS has published a Knowledge Base article

that includes step-by-step guidance on how to access the Work Order System.

Important: When logging into the system, note that users who have access to
the ServiceNow backend will be redirected to the general ServiceNow
administrative homepage upon successful UCR authentication. To return to
the Work Order System homepage, open a new browser tab and enter the Work
Order System URL (workorders.ucr.edu). This step will not be required again
once you’ve successfully logged into the ServiceNow system. Note that the
workorders.ucr.edu system is scheduled to go live on July 5, 2023.
