[Campus Notice] Zoom Phone Migration Update

Dear Unit Leaders and Administrators,


Please be advised of an important update to your Department’s migration to
Zoom Phone Services:


The attached list of individuals will migrate to Zoom Phone on August 31,
2023 as planned. This list is based on the campus phone user information
provided to ITS, as requested on July 27, 2023.


Please note that any phone line assignments that could not be verified
using the data provided to the Zoom Phone Project Team will not be migrated
at this time. As a result, you may have some phone users who will not
migrate to Zoom Phone on August 31, 2023. These users will retain access to
their existing phone service.


Please share this information with your staff for their awareness. Any
users who do not migrate this week as a result of missing data will be
included in the next round of Zoom Phone migrations, which is expected to
occur in late October, 2023.


There will be no service interruption for individuals who will not migrate
to Zoom Phone on August 31, as they will continue to use their existing
phone line and equipment.


Guidance for Campus Users Migrating to Zoom Phone


To facilitate a smooth transition, all campus phone users migrating to Zoom
Phone on August 31 will receive guidance from ITS via email. The Zoom Phone
Project Team will also provide live support during Office Hours on August
31, 2023, from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM (PDT). A Zoom link and phone number for the
Office Hours will be provided to users shortly.
