[Campus Notice] Phone Service Upgrade to Zoom Coming in August

[UCR Information Technology Solutions]

Dear Campus Phone User,

Information Technology Solutions (ITS) is excited to notify you that your
telephony service will be upgraded to UCR’s unified, modern telephony
platform, Zoom Phone Services <https://its.ucr.edu/zoom-phone-services>,
later this month.

As part of the Digital Transformation initiative, ITS has invested in Zoom
Phone Services to replace outdated and soon-to-be unsupported technology.
This new, reliable, and flexible phone service will keep UCR connected and
allow everyone to communicate more effectively and efficiently.

The “Go Live” date of your service transition will be announced later this
week. To ensure a smooth transition, you will be invited to attend an
instructor-led training session prior to Zoom Phone activation. Please keep
an eye out for this invitation via email. Note that training resources will
be available to those unable to attend the training session, but we
encourage you to participate in the instructor-led training.
