[SHS-Announcements] Welcoming Dr. Anje'le Alston as Student Health Physician

Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to officially announce the newest addition to the Student
Health Services team.

Please join me in welcoming *Dr. Anje'le Alston*, who has accepted the
position of Staff Physician. Dr. Alston is a board-certified Internal
Medicine physician with added qualifications in Primary Care Sports
Medicine.

Dr. Alston completed her Internal Medicine residency training here at UC
Riverside, followed by a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at
Intermountain Health in Utah. There, she served as a team physician for
athletes ranging from high school through Division I collegiate programs.
Her clinical expertise includes musculoskeletal care, ultrasound-guided
interventions, and concussion management, alongside a strong commitment to
student wellness and preventive health education. We are excited to have
her bring this specialized skillset and her collaborative spirit back to
the UCR community.

Dr. Alston's official start date will be *Monday, August 31, 2026*.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Dr. Alston as she begins this
new chapter with Student Health Services.
