Great news from Professor Weihsin Gui in English.
Dear ENGL faculty colleagues and graduate students,

I am very pleased to announce that my guest-edited special issue of *Science
Fiction Studies* on Southeast Asian speculative fiction has just been
published. It the first issue to be published with the University of
California Press. The special issue's website is

limitations in scope and coverage, but I hope it is an important beginning
that starts conversations and lays the ground for future scholarship.
