[Sfts-faculty] Zine-making event, March 2nd

Dear all,

I thought I'd share this exciting event taking place March 2nd, 10am-1pm, in the Rivera Library: Indigenous Honeys: Honoring Indigenous Women Through Creative Collaging. One of the guest speakers is Chanti Jung, who was a co-creator of the Portals of Indigenous Futurism Zine<https://www.abalonemountainpress.com/store/p/portals-of-indigenous-futurism-zine#:~:text=A%20Zine%20anthology%20of%20Indigenous,and%20Amber%20McCrary%20(Din%C3%A9).>.

Here is a breakdown of the activities:

10:00 am - Introduction
10:15 am - Zine Tour in Special Collections & University Archives (SCUA)
11:00 am - Presentation by Indigenous Honeys Collective
11:30 am - Catered lunch!
12:00 pm - Hands-on "Make Your Own Zine" activity
1:00 pm - End
