Dear Francesca,

I’m reaching out from the Wright-Ingraham Institute with an exciting summer
fellowship opportunity for your students and recent alumni. *The
application deadline is Dec 17*, and I would appreciate any help spreading
the word to graduate students, early-career researchers, and colleagues who
might be a good fit.

I’ve included information about the program below, and attached a one page
shareable pdf. Details and application are also available on our website

case that’s of interest.

OPEN CALL - 2027 Fellowship Applications

Applications are now open for the Wright-Ingraham Institute’s 2027 Field
Workshop: Building a Shared Future in a Time of Rapid Change.

This three-week advanced fellowship brings together graduate students and
early-career practitioners from diverse fields and knowledge traditions.
Traveling through the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado and the Taos
Plateau in northern New Mexico, fellows will learn alongside regional
partners and develop collaborative projects addressing local land and water
challenges.

In 2027, fellows will explore how people can respond together to prolonged
drought across a landscape divided into a patchwork of ownership and
institutions. They will examine how different responsibilities, incentives,
and access to resources shape land and water decisions, and where shared
understanding can lead to coordinated action. We welcome applicants from
any field who want to grow as integrative thinkers and doers.

More info and application.
