Dear Dr. Dana Simmons

I’m writing to share an upcoming event that may be of interest to your
students and colleagues. Our Fall 2024 English 250 seminar on Indigenous
discourses and poetics, taught by Dr. Mark Minch-de León, is hosting a
conversation titled:

Rage, Resistance, Restoration

🌿 A reception for the UCR Native Garden Anniversary will follow.

Featured guests include poet and scholar Erin Marie Lynch, Malki Ballena
Press director Amanda Castro, and Dr. Mark Minch-de León.

This event is organized by English PhD and Creative Writing MFA students
and supported by the UCR English Department. We’d be grateful if you could
circulate the flyer (attached) to your listserv or pass the event details
along to interested students, especially those engaged in Native, ethnic,
literary, or environmental studies.
