Dear esteemed UCR faculty member,
I wanted to reach out to you and extend my most formal invitation to attend
our Providing Opportunities, Dreams, and Education in Riverside (PODER) at
the University of California, Riverside's 11th annual fundraising
event, “Keeping
Dreams Alive”: Investing in the Dream Banquet on *Friday**,* May 17th,
2024. The event is scheduled to take place in the Highlander Union Building
Banquet Room (355) from 7:00 pm-10:00 pm, with tickets priced at $30.00
each.
PODER is a student-led organization dedicated to disseminating information,
developing resources, and providing a support network for undocumented
students pursuing higher education. Throughout the years we have committed
ourselves to providing information and resources to the Riverside community
and UCR campus. This year has been monumental including major
accomplishments like the Dreaming of a Higher Education Conference for high
school students in the Fall, Immigrant Awareness week with record number
engagement as well as monumental advocating for the Opportunities 4 All
Campaign.
If you cannot attend, we would greatly appreciate you sharing the donation
link with your network to help us fundraise for undocumented student
scholarships.

We are partnering with the IEIYC to use GiveButter, where you are able to
purchase tickets on the platform. Any support in ensuring that all
our undocumented students have a shot to continue their higher education
career would be invaluable.
With immense gratitude,
Emmanuel Aguilar, PODER Co-President
