*Effective 8/13/2025 - New NASA Webform for Submitting Required Performance
Reports*
Dear NASA Community,
To help improve the submission process of the Research Performance Progress
Report (RPPR), NASA has implemented a new webform for submitting required
performance reports.
*Effective August 13, 2025*, all RPPRs must be submitted via the webform
available at the following link:
https://www.nasa.gov/grant-cooperative-agreement-research-performance-progress-report-submission/
The cover page is created during the webform submission, and the required
data elements for the cover page are included as part of the process.
Please note that the required RPPR format and instructions for NASA grants
are outlined in the NASA Grants and Cooperative Agreement Manual , Section
29.1:Performance Report Requirements.

To
avoid delays in review and approval, please ensure that your report follows
the NASA-required format and is submitted through the webform provided
above.
If you have any questions, please contact your NASA Grant Officer via the NASA
Shared Services Center (NSSC) Contact Center

Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your continued
collaboration.

*Kuali Research’s Sandbox (Testing) Environment Will be Refreshed This
Thursday Evening *
Hello Kuali Users,
The Kuali Award and Proposal modules will have their data refreshed on
*Thursday,
August 14th at 5:00 PM PST*.
If you are currently testing in the *sandbox environment
<https://ucr-sbx.kuali.co/dashboard>* (i.e., the Kuali Research
training/testing environment for users to practice), please be sure to
complete your testing *prior to the refresh date and time* to avoid having
your data overwritten.
The current sandbox data is outdated, so this refresh will provide more
up-to-date information for testing and review.
Please note that the data refresh of the sandbox will not impact the
Kuali *production
environment <https://ucr.kuali.co/dashboard>* (e.g., actual proposals
initiated in Kuali PD for submission will not be affected by the refresh).
If you have any questions, please contact *José Santa Cruz* at

*Reminder: Use of Cayuse Proposals for Federal Agency Submissions*
Many federal agencies require the use of the Grants.gov system for the
submission of proposals. *As of July 1, 2017, UCR requires the use of
Cayuse Proposals (S2S) as the submission portal for proposals that are sent
to Grants.gov.*
*Exceptions:*
· UCR encourages the use of the National Science Foundation (NSF) eRA
system, Research.gov, for the submission of proposals to NSF.
· UCR will permit the use of the National Institute of Health (NIH)
eRA system, ASSIST, only in those instances when NIH will not allow the use
of Grants.gov as alternative eRA system. (Typically, NIH will permit
proposals to be submitted through either ASSIST or Grants.gov. In such
cases, UCR requires the use of CayuseProposal to send proposals to
Grants.gov.)
*Cayuse Proposals (S2S)* <https://ucr.cayuse424.com>* is a fast,
easy-to-use Web application created specifically to simplify the creation,
review, approval, and electronic submission of Grants.gov proposal
applications. For further information and tutorials regarding Cayuse
Proposals, see **https://research.ucr.edu/spa/era#cayuse-proposal*
