On-Campus (MTDC) Indirect Cost Rate to be Applied on all State of California agreements
(except the CDFA Marketing Orders and Marketing Agreements) Shall Remain Unchanged Until July 1, 2026

Dear Colleagues,

The UC CFO has decided to hold our State indirect cost rate steady for FY25-26 at 35% Modified Total Direct Costs (MTDC) for on-campus projects. The escalation from 35% to 40% that was originally scheduled to occur on July 1, 2025, will now occur on July 1, 2026.
